The decrease in the average number of covid cases has indeed come to an end - case numbers have plateaued nationally at around 71,000 cases per day since October 25 and in the State of Georgia at around 1,000 cases per day since October 27. Whether this "steady state" gives way to a further decrease or to another peak remains anyone's guess.
After days of indecision, Tropical Storm Wanda has finally selected a destination and appears now to be heading toward Ireland. Other than Wanda, all is quiet out in the Atlantic as we ease into the last month of hurricane season.
