I don't even recognize as Buddhism anymore three-quarters of what calls itself that on the internet these days.  Zen Master Dogen often referred to the time that he lived as the "degenerate ages" when the dharma was no longer accurately understood.  What do we call those days today?  

"The Golden Age of Zen."

What would Dogen think if he saw us now?
