Bashar's point of view is very interesting in that matter, I'll paraphrase: "a fundamental aspect of every belief is that in order for you to be able to fully experience it, it has to in a sense declare all other beliefs as false, otherwise you'd get distracted. The belief you are holding needs to negate others so you can experience it an nothing else if so you wish"
