Friday Night Video

Notice how it feels when the whole visual/mental model of what you thought you were seeing suddenly collapses.

So tell me again why it is that we believe what we see with our own eyes?

Simply because its an easy way to process the huge amounts of information seen. It's interesting to note that the basic optical illusion as to which line is longer
<---> or >---<, usually shown as solid lines and vertically, does not work on tribes that live in the jungle and huts without corners. It's a learnt illusion. Fascinating things illusions.
