On May 10, the band released The January EP, a collection of six songs presumably left over from the Pigeons sessions. I understand that frontman Luke Temple also has a solo record (Don't Act Like You Don't Care) of country-influenced songs in the works, recorded at the same time as the first Here We Go Magic album.
They play tonight at The Earl, with Caveman and Atlanta's This Piano Plays Itself opening. According to the journal of record, "Here We Go Magic plays strummy, vaguely psychedelic pop-folk." Singer and songwriter Luke Temple’s "high, spiraling vocals and hazy instrumentation can be disorienting, but in a soft, satisfying way."
I will be there.
