Watchmen

I've been enjoying HBO's new series Watchmen.  Only three episodes have aired so far, but it's already clearly the best show on t.v. right now.  I feel like I did after the third episode of the first season of Game of Thrones, that is, "This is really good!  Please, oh please, don't blow it!"

Like so may shows and movies nowadays, Watchmen is filmed in Atlanta (aka "The Hollywood of the South," aka "Y'allywood), although it's supposed to be in an alternate-history version of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Specifically, much of the show is shot in and around downtown Decatur.  The picture above is the south side of Decatur Square, just around the corner from Eddie's Attic.

With just a little creative lighting and one carefully placed prop, Watchmen transformed Decatur Square into a science fiction setting (below)
