Today is Christmas. It is the day for obedient following, for with it we obey the teachings of all buddhas.
As you well know, we've been tracking the infection rate of the covids here in Georgia on this site. We noticed the welcome decline in average number of cases per day in September and October, and then saw the rate flatten out in November. The rate started increasing again in December, but just look at how sharply the numbers have climbed as the omicron variant became dominant this month.
That's a 300% increase over the past two weeks, most of which occurred in just the past five days. Holy crap! That's one steep climb!
It's anybody's guess how high that peak will go before it finally crests.
