Walmart Wolverine Ted Cruz continues to display his lack of knowledge on the very issues he was supposedly elected to promote. Not only was he among the Republicans who signed on in support of Texas' ill-conceived lawsuit to overturn votes in Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, he actually wanted to plead the case to overthrow democracy in the Supreme Court. A shameful excuse for a Senator, much less a human being. Raphael ("Ted") Cruz - the latest in a long line of Texan embarrassments.
For the record and to clear away the fog of disinformation, the federal government had made Project Warp Speed deals totaling more than $9 billion with multiple private companies, but the deals varied in scope. The deal with Pfizer was for purchase of the company’s vaccine if it was authorized by the FDA. Although agreements with other companies, like Moderna, included funding for their vaccines’ research and development, the agreement with Pfizer did not. Operation Warp Speed, the American government, and most certainly Donald Jambalaya Trump deserve no credit for development of the Pfizer vaccine. Experts say that it likely will be several months before vaccines are available for the vast majority of Americans.
