Recognizing the distinct possibility that we've been getting more than a little bit obsessive with our unpacking all the performances we saw at the Big Ears Festival, let's take a Zen moment to pause and return to the here and now and recognize that it's springtime, that today's Easter, and that this is the brief time of year my azaleas are in bloom.
This holiday always recalls English band XTC's baroque-rock masterpiece Apple Venus Volume 1 and in particular the song Easter Theater.
