When we examine the teachings of Buddhism, we see mention of delusion and realization, of practice, of life and of death, of Buddhas and ordinary beings. But in practice, there is no delusion and realization, no life and no death, no Buddhas and ordinary beings. Since what the Buddha realized is beyond such arbitrary distinctions, there can be delusion and realization, life and death, Buddhas and ordinary beings. Yet even though it's just another dualistic concept, we still cling to our preferences and despise our aversions.
