Astronautalis

Fountain Lawn Stage, Bumbershoot. Yet another discovery. Astronautalis is rapper Andy Bothwell, who played an energetic and thoroughly entertaining set. His style might be similar to what you might expect if a young Tom Waits decided to go hip-hop, if you can imagine such things. Mr. Bothwell has an extremely charismatic stage presence when he's on stage, even more so when he jumps off. Fortunately, he spent as much time at the foot of the stage and in among the audience as he did up on the floor.
