Crystal Ballroom, MFNW. I left Explosions in the Sky early, because after I figured out their quiet-quiet-quiet-loud-loud-loud formula, they really had nothing new to offer. How many times do you really need to hear quiet-quiet-quiet-loud-loud-loud done over and over? So now I'm at the Crystal Ballroom, right near my hotel, watching country-folk singer Alela Diane. Only caught a few songs, but she does seem to have a great voice.
