any hints on where to find the generator function for that fractal. Its not the usual Mandelbrot set. I build Java screensavers out of those. If you run the colormap table indexing and the zoom factor off of a sine function of the system clock, it can get pretty hypnotic....or is that an actual picture of someone's afterlife;?)
Unfortunately, like most of my pictures, I don't recall where that one was from, much less the fractal generator function. The picture was actually posted here a year ago - check out the entry for April 24, 2005 (http://shokai.blogspot.com/2005/04/3.html), but you wont find any clues to the code there, either.
