Hope you're feeling better. Odd thing about this blogosphere- sometimes you think you sort of get to know people.
You should blog more about your sangha and its lineage; I've been practicing Buddhism for over 10 years, and I'm sorry to say I'd never realized there was a strong Soto Zen tradition that arose in Chicago of all places (I'm an ex-New Yorker, which should explain some of that) and then migratory patterns planted seeds in Atlanta.
